Friends of Mexico, Inc is an introductory missionary service in Mexico for Christian youth and adults. Reaching the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Vacation Bible School, music, teaching the Word, and skills training, as well as a wide variety of construction projects.

LOCATION
Hidden deep in the Sierra Madre mountains, about 150 miles south of Monterrey, lies the farming community of Galeana. It was here that in 1961 a crusade for the Lord held in a small theater marked the beginning of the fulfillment of the Great Commission in the area.

The population of Galeana is roughly 17,000. There are more than 386 villages in the six municipal districts, contributing to an overall population of more than 200,000. The need for ministry and social assistance in Galeana has been and continues to be tremendous.

MINISTRY
Here at Friends of Mexico, people have the opportunity to use their gifts and abilities to serve the Lord. The outreach here in Galeana has seen such a

tremendous growth that the need for missionaries from numerous fields has grown immensely.

Teachers and ministers are needed for Bible schools, door to door evangelism, and Christian video viewing.

Our medical ministry has seen a great change with the arrival of doctors and their teams for short-term missions in Galeana.

Our feeding program for children has been very successful in providing meals to the surrounding villages.

Construction of the new skill center holds a bright future for Galeana.

Through our outreach programs and help from people willing to donate their time and service to the Lord, Friends of Mexico, Inc. will continue to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Sierra Madre and Galeana.
